Access is terrible walk in for miles through one man narrow lane , The roads to get there dangerous and narrow by car . It's a hole , don't go there Full review by cockakoo

Pack everything you need. Don't rely on shops unless you like walking 200 stairs. Also pack reef shoes. The water is superb but a little rocky and reef shoes will make it so much more enjoyable Full review by wayne g

Hi Melanie, It depends on where you are staying now. if you just landed in the airport try to get the airport taxi, it's about IDR 200K-250K, if you think it's still high rate, you can use the Online App Taxi, like Gojek/Gocar or Grab it's about IDR 100K-150K,(but it's not allowed to use in the airport, so you have to walk out of the airport). Uluwatu beaches are mostly spread out, so the best way to explore is by riding scooter. hope it helps..
