The Wild played most of the game without two of their top six forwards but managed to dispatch the Canadiens thanks to Matt Boldy.

PAUL - Minnesota Wild head coach John Hynes announced on Friday that Joel Eriksson Ek is day-to-day with a lower-body injury. Hynes also said Mats Zuccarello will be out for three to four weeks and has been placed on the Injured Reserve (IR).
