More than 110 bands will take the field to compete in the Bands of America Grand National Championships this week at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. At the end of three days, the top band will take home the coveted eagle trophy,

BOA's Grand National Championships take place today. The finale and awards will take place at 11:30 p.m. with a champion crowned around midnight.

In last year's competition, Avon High School took home the gold with a score of 97.475, just edging out nearby central Indiana school Carmel by .200.
