Despite being the sixth quarterback selected in the 2024 NFL draft, Bo Nix has rocketed up the rookie quarterback rankings recently with the Denver Broncos. After erratic play to start his career, Nix has started to look like a far more competent and comfortable quarterback.

Nix has thrown two third-down interceptions this year: Week 1 at Seattle and on Denver’s first possession in Week 6 against the Chargers. Since that overthrow to Marvin Mims Jr., Nix has dropped back 52 times on third down without a turnover.

Nix has completed 63.6% of his passes this fall for 1,968 yards with 10 touchdowns against six interceptions. He has also rushed for 290 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. Nix continues to progress and he has the Broncos in position to contend for a playoff spot this season. As Sutton said, you can’t ask for more than that from the rookie QB.
