Eagles fans couldn’t help but troll the Giants after Saquon Barkley’s big night in a 26-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.

The Giants receive more and more backlash with every monster performance Saquon Barkley puts up in midnight green, but the decision to let him walk was a win for all parties involved.

Saquon Barkley has been playing stellar football all season, but he absolutely went off on Thursday Night Football. The Eagles’ running back finished his night with 26 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns,

The chants were unmistakable — and very loud. Flocks of Eagles fans stuck around after Philadelphia’s 26-18 home victory over the Washington Commanders on Thursday night and expressed their gratitude to the team that let Saquon Barkley walk away.

Saquon Barkley went off again Thursday night. Which has to be absolutely embarrassing for Giants co-owner John Mara, who clearly didn’t want to lose his star running back in free agency — and especially didn’t want to lose him to the Eagles.

And to no one’s surprise, the calls to fire everybody from the paying customers have only intensified with each mounting loss in which the Giants look as though they’re playing football for the first time this year instead of being past the midway point of the season.
