The Indian Minister, Narendra Modi, has arrived at the Presidential Villa, Abuja to hold bilateral talks with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday, November 17.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has welcomed the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, to Nigeria on his first official visit. Tinubu disclosed this in a statement through his official X handle on Sunday.

Abuja: India accords high priority to its strategic partnership with Nigeria and it will work towards boosting ties in a range of areas, including defence, energy and trade, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said during his talks with Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Sunday.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a vibrant welcome from the Indian community in Nigeria during his historic visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.

Mr Modi arrived in Abuja for the bilateral agreement that Mr Tinubu said will enhance “mutual respects and a shared mission.”

Abuja: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in Nigeria, the first stop in his five-day three-nation visit to strengthen global relationships. PM Modi landed in Nigeria to an extremely warm welcome from the local government and the Indian diaspora.
