The Chicago Bulls saw the return of point guard Lonzo Ball to the NBA floor this season after years of setbacks injury-wise. However, it was fairly short-lived. Ball suffered a wrist injury and has been trying to get back on the court. He was originally supposed to be out for a short time but the Bulls have learned the hard way with Ball.

Chicago Bulls fans waited for over two seasons to see Lonzo Ball return to the team. After years of waiting, it finally happened this season, but then Lonzo went out again with a right wrist sprain. After playing three games with the Bulls,

Ball hoped to return from a sprained right wrist Sunday, but shooting drills before the Bulls' game Wednesday in New York changed those hopes quickly. Coach Billy Donovan said it will be at least another week before Ball can think about a return.

Billy Donovan said Lonzo Ball was targeting Friday or Sunday for his return. While Donovan didn’t rule it out, he did say it may be optimistic. Ball hasn’t done much other than dribbling to this point.
