Disney rallied after earnings, as investors got a rare three-year forecast that showed the company expects double-digit earnings growth in 2026 and 2027.

Disney shares rocketed higher in Thursday trading after the major studio, led by CEO Bob Iger, reported its latest quarterly results, including strong film unit results, driven by the likes of Deadpool & Wolverine and Inside Out 2.

U.S. stocks slipped Thursday as the market’s big burst following Donald Trump’s election continued to cool. The S&P 500 fell 0.6%, though it’s still near its all-time high set on Monday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 207 points,

Disney CEO Bob Iger adopted a trading plan to exercise options granted 10 years ago, currently worth more than $40 million.

The potential sale comes after Iger and his wife, Willow Bay, agreed to acquire the Angel City Football Club in July. Bay and Iger were reported to acquire the controlling stake in Angel City Football Club at a value of $250 million and planned to invest an additional $50 million “to support the Club’s future growth.”
