The ATP Tour Finals in Turin, Italy have their semifinalists. After 12 matches, all but two of them straight-sets wins, Jannik Sinner will face Casper Ruud in one semifinal, with Alexander Zverev playing Taylor Fritz in the other.

Twice ATP Finals champion Alexander Zverev outclassed four-times major winner Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(5) 6-4 to progress to the semi-finals of the season-ending championship on Friday and leave the Spaniard on the brink of elimination.

Casper Ruud's victory was his sixth over a top-10 opponent in ATP Tour-level events in 2024, surpassing his previous best in a single calendar year (five in 2022)
